Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there is some drizzle or light rain falling mainly to our south and east. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 60 in Clifton down to 50 at Vernon and High Point. Winds are calm or light southeasterly.

A weak disturbance is causing clouds this morning but high pressure off the New England coast will provide plenty of sunshine by later this morning. Temperatures will be seasonably cool with a light onshore flow.

Wednesday and Thursday will remain dry and cool, Wednesday should be mostly sunny but more clouds on Thursday as a frontal system approaches from the west.

Friday will be warmer and gradually more humid with showers likely with some thunderstorms possible.

At this point most of the holiday weekend looks to be dry but there will be a slight chance of afternoon or evening showers Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures should be seasonably warm with highs each day near 80.

SUNDAY – MAY 29 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MEMORIAL DAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny, high near 80.
