Continued pleasantly cool today with more sunshine than yesterday! More clouds again on Thursday and continued cool! Warmer and more humid Friday through the holiday weekend with showers likely Friday into Saturday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 52 in Clifton down to 44 at Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure off the New England coast will continue with a light onshore flow of seasonably cool air today, we should see more sunshine than yesterday with highs reaching the low to mid 70s.

More clouds again on Thursday but we should remain mainly dry with a low chance of showers at night, temperatures will continue to be seasonably cool.

Warmer and more humid air moves into the area Friday and lasts through the holiday weekend. Friday will have the best chance of showers and thunderstorms as a frontal system moves toward our area. This front now is expected to slow down so there will still be a chance of showers mainly Saturday afternoon. Sunday and Memorial day still looks dry with warm temperatures.

Very warm weather will be with us much of next week.
