Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 52 in Clifton down to 47 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure moving off the New England coast will continue with a light onshore flow of cool air along with mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday’s readings. Tonight a southerly flow of more humid air will give us a chance of light rain or drizzle mainly after 8 p.m.

A frontal system will likely give us showers, some heavy on Friday mainly in the afternoon and evening, despite plenty of clouds, high temperatures will reach near 80 along with higher humidity.

Still a chance of showers on Saturday as the front moves through the area, however the day will not be a complete washout. High temperatures will once again be near 80.

The rest of the holiday weekend should stay dry with warm temperatures.

Quite warm to hot Tuesday and Wednesday with continued dry conditions.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 1 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted valid between 11 a.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday morning; No advisories expected the rest of Saturday through Monday.
