Sunny and mild today with light winds! Continued mild on Wednesday and becoming breezy! Showers heavy at times and mild on Thursday through early Friday morning! Mainly dry with seasonable temperatures this weekend!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 48 in Clifton down to 35 at Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure just south of the area will give a pleasantly mild day today with plenty of sunshine and light winds.

The high pressure will move offshore on Wednesday but we should still have a nice sunny day with continued mild temperatures but winds will become a little brisk in the afternoon. Increasing cloudiness at night.

A strong cold front will cause showers on Thursday with possibly some thunderstorms, it will continue to be mild. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5″ are expected.

After a chance of an early morning shower on Friday we should see some clearing by the afternoon, highs will be slightly lower.

Mainly dry weather for the weekend as high pressure will be in our area. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels with highs both days in the 60s.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers on Monday.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 12 – Mostly sunny and becoming breezy in the afternoon, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – OCT 13 – Cloudy with showers with possibly some thunderstorms, rain may be heavy at times, high near 70.

FRIDAY – OCT 14 – After an early morning shower it will becoming mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 15 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – OCT 16 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s, chance of showers late at night.

MONDAY – OCT 17 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – West-northwest winds to 10 knots becoming southerly this afternoon, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected on Wednesday; advisories expected on Thursday; advisories still possible for higher seas on Friday; no advisories expected on Saturday.
