Good morning everyone!

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR NOVEMBER 10TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 55 AVERAGE LOW: 37

RECORD HIGH: 76 – 2020 RECORD LOW: 22 – 2017

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 56 LOW: 35 PRECIPITATION: NONE

High pressure will be moving offshore today with a southwest flow of milder air along with sunny skies.

We should see an increase in cloudiness tonight as the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicole along a strong front approaches from the west. Rain from this system should begin mainly by early Friday afternoon and become moderate to occasionally heavy at times Friday night. Strong southerly winds to 35 mph will keep our area quite mild with high humidity. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches likely with more to our west.

The front will cross the area Saturday morning which will push any leftover moisture from Nicole out to sea followed by clearing. It will remain quite mild during the day with lower humidity.

Sunday will be a mostly sunny but chilly with a brisk wind.

Still quite cool through the middle part of next week and a weak disturbance may cause light rain Tuesday night into Wednesday and some of the precipitation may be mixed with snow at the higher elevations of northwest sections of New Jersey.
