Finally sunshine will return today with seasonably cool temperatures! Dry and continued cool on Thursday! Showers heavy at times on Friday! Very pleasant weather for the weekend! Well above normal temperatures expected much of next week!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and it is quite cool with temperatures ranging from 50 in Clifton down to 42 at Sandyston. Winds are light from the northeast. The air quality is good with an index of 33.

High pressure building down from eastern Canada will finally give us sunshine for the first time since last Friday. Temperatures will be cool with most highs in the mid-upper 60s.

The strong high pressure will move off the New England coast on Thursday, temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal.

A coastal front is likely to give us showers on Friday with some heavy rain possible. Winds will pick up from the northeast.

High pressure will then dominate our weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine each day, highs on Saturday will be near 70 but rise to well up into the 70s on Sunday.

Well above normal temperatures and mostly dry conditions through most of next week.

SUNDAY – OCT 1 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

MONDAY – OCT 2 – Sunny, highs near 80.

TUESDAY – OCT 3 – Mostly sunny, highs near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Friday morning for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 6-9 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories expected to continue Friday through Sunday.
