Rain is ending and it will remain mostly cloudy but rather mild with light winds today! Sunny, seasonably mild and a little breezy on Thanksgiving Day! Dry Friday through the day on Sunday with cooler temperatures! Chance of showers Sunday night!

Good morning everyone!

Rain is ending early this morning but it has remained cloudy, temperatures are nearly 20 degrees warmer than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 47 in Clifton down to 38 at Walpack and Vernon. Winds are mainly from the north 10-15 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 41.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR NOVEMBER 22ND:

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 44 LOW: 29 PRECIPITATION: .84″

The “potent” low pressure system that gave us around 2 inches of well needed rain overnight is moving offshore and the rain is ending. Today will remain mostly cloudy but it will be mild with highs near 60. Winds should be light.

Thanksgiving Day will be pleasant with near seasonable temperatures and mostly sunny skies, winds will be a little brisk in the morning with gusts to 25 mph but the wind will diminish in the afternoon.

Friday looks to be a dry day, again with near seasonable temperatures and sunny skies.

Most of the weekend looks dry as high pressure build into the area. Saturday will be chilly and it should be a little milder on Sunday, but temperatures will be a little below normal. A weak coastal low pressure may give us some showers Sunday night that may be mixed with snow well inland.

High pressure will then build into our area for early next week with dry conditions but continued below normal temperatures.
