Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is chilly with readings ranging from 27 in Clifton down to 20 at High Point, winds are still a little brisk out of the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 26.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather today giving us plenty of sunshine. High temperatures may be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday with a little less wind.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather tomorrow through Christmas Day with mainly dry weather through this period. Temperatures will be a little below normal Thursday through Saturday then rise to above normal readings Sunday and on Christmas Day.

Tuesday will be mild but with a chance of rain as low pressure approaches our area.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Friday morning for northwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.
