Mostly sunny and little breezy and cool today! Snow developing Tuesday morning then changing to rain by noon and ending in the evening, snowfall amounts around 1 inch in Clifton with more inland. Dry and seasonable cold Wednesday and Thursday! Much colder on Friday with a chance of snow late at night! A chance of rain or snow on Saturday followed by dry and cold weather for Sunday!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from 33 in Clifton down to 29 at High Point and Hackettstown. Winds are a little brisk out of the west. The air quality is good with an index of 37.

High pressure will give us a mostly sunny day today along with seasonably cold temperatures. Winds will be a little brisk today but diminish by late in the afternoon.

Low pressure will then move into our area on Tuesday with snow developing around daybreak and then change to rain in the afternoon. Snowfall amounts will be near 1″ in Clifton with higher amounts to our north and west. Total liquid precipitation should be near an inch. The rain will end in the evening.

High pressure will then build into the area giving us dry and chilly weather for Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front will come through dry Thursday night.

Friday looks to be the coldest day of the season with overnight lows in the teens and daytime highs only around 30.

Low pressure moving to our south will give us a chance of snow or rain late Friday night into Saturday.

High pressure will then should give us a dry day on Sunday with continued below normal temperatures.

FRIDAY – DEC 5 – Mostly sunny and very cold, highs only in the low 30s, chance of snow late at night.

SATURDAY – DEC 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, highs near 40.

SUNDAY – DEC 7 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 40s.
