Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are mild, with readings ranging from the upper 50s in the Clifton area to the low 50s further inland; humidity is on the high side and winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have a mostly cloudy day but no rain is in the forecast, it will be milder with highs in the 70s.

A weak disturbance will cause some showers just to our south tonight into Wednesday morning but our area should stay dry.   Tomorrow will continue to be dry and mild but rain is likely to develop late at night.

Thursday will be a cloudy and cool day with periods of rain.

Some showers are possible on Friday, temperatures will be milder.

The beginning of the holiday weekend looks to be quite nice with mild temperatures but another low pressure system may give us some more showers late on Sunday into Memorial Day.

MONDAY  MAY  22, 2017  5:45 A.M.

Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning with showers falling mainly to our south and east, temperatures range from the low 50s in the Clifton area to near 50 further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A trough of low pressure will swing through the area today and this evening causing showers, most of the showers will fall later this morning into this evening, rainfall amounts should be in the 1/2 inch range, more along coastal areas and less rain inland, temperatures with the clouds and onshore flow will be on the cool side.

High pressure will briefly move in for Tuesday with sunshine returning along with milder temperatures.

Unsettled weather Wednesday and Thursday as another low pressure area moves into the area,  showers are possible on Wednesday with rain likely on Thursday.

We should see some clearing on Friday and at this time the weekend looks mainly dry but some showers are possible late Sunday night into Memorial Day.  Temperatures will be seasonably mild.

We have mostly clear skies early on this Sunday morning. Temperatures are cool ranging from around 50 in the Clifton area to near 40 further inland; winds are mainly calm.

Today we should see an increase of clouds by this afternoon . With these clouds and a light onshore wind, temperatures will continue to be cool.

A frontal system moving into the area on Monday will cause rain that should start shortly before daybreak; continuing during the day, about an inch of rainfall is expected.

High pressure will briefly build into the area on Tuesday giving us a mostly sunny and milder day.

Another low pressure system will give us a chance of showers on Wednesday with rain likely on Thursday.

Dry weather on Friday into the start of the holiday weekend, temperatures will be near normal.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there were showers moving through Morris County. Temperatures are cooler than the last couple of mornings, ranging from the upper 50s in the Clifton area to the low 50s further inland; winds are from the north 5-10 mph.

After an impressive early season heat wave we will have much cooler weather for the weekend.  A shower now moving through northern New Jersey will move through the area and off the coast later this morning.  Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day with temperatures only in the 60s.

Dry and cool weather for Sunday along with partly sunny skies.

A frontal system will cause showers and thunderstorms on Monday. Rainfall amounts will be around 1 inch, temperatures will continue to be below normal.

High pressure will briefly move into the area on Tuesday giving us plenty of sunshine and milder temperatures.

Another frontal system may give us more showers from late Wednesday into the day on Thursday, temperatures will be around normal.

Another unseasonably warm and humid morning across the area on Friday as temperatures range from the mid 70s in Clifton to the low 60s in some inland areas; skies are mostly clear and the winds are light.

Another hot day is in store for us today as warm air continues to flow around a Bermuda high offshore.  A cold front will move through the area this afternoon with only a slight chance of a thunderstorm.  Cooler and much drier air will filter in by late tonight.

Much cooler on the weekend but we should see sunshine both days, high temperatures will be around 70, temperatures Saturday night will drop down to the 40s.

A trough of low pressure will likely cause showers and thunderstorms on Monday.  High pressure will give us a nice day on Tuesday but another low pressure system will give the area a good chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday.  Temperatures next week will average near normal.
