Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures are quite cool with readings ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to the upper 20s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be milder than the last few days as a warm front moves to our north, with plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise into the 60s by this afternoon, winds will be light and it will a very pleasant day.  On this day in 2011 we had six inches of snow and in 2012  Hurricane Sandy affected our area.

It will be quite mild overnight with lows in the 50s.  High temperatures on Sunday will be close to 70 degrees but a weak cold front will likely give us some light rain in the afternoon and evening.

High pressure will build into the area on Monday giving us a mostly fair and cool Halloween.

Seasonably cool on Tuesday but tempertures will again be quite mild Wednesday and Thursday.

Some showers possible Thursday evening followed by cooler and dry conditions for Friday.

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s here in the Clifton area to the mid 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm. Yesterday I recorded .81 inches of rainfall which started briefly as some sleet in the morning.

High pressure will build into the area today which will provide us with partly sunny skies, it will be a little breezy and temperatures will be cool.

Milder air moves into the area for the weekend, Saturday will be the best day with dry conditions and temperatures in the 60s.  It will still be mild on Sunday but a frontal system will likely give the area some showers in the afternoon.

Halloween with be dry and a little cooler.  Milder weather Tuesday through Thursday with mainly dry conditions.

Skies have become cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there is some mixed precipitation over the Poconos, temperatures range from around 40 in the Clifton area to the low 30s further inland, winds are light.

A low pressure system will be moving through the area today causing mainly rain over the area but the rain may begin with a mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain especially inland before changing to plain rain, high temperatures will rise to the 50s by this evening, a freezing rain advisory is in effect for this morning for the Poconos and Northwest New Jersey.  Around 1 inch of well needed rainfall is expected.

Conditions dry out on Friday and it will be windy and cool as high pressure builds into the area.

The weekend will be milder with highs both days in the 60s, Saturday will be dry but weak disturbance will likely give us some rain Sunday afternoon and evening.

Halloween should be dry and pleasantly cool.  Milder Tuesday and Wednesday with mainly dry conditions prevailing.

With clear skies and light winds temperatures have fallen to their lowest readings of the season so far ranging from the mid 30s here in Clifton to some mid 20s in the colder inland areas.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine but temperatures will continue to be quite cool rising to around 50 as high pressure builds into the area.

A low pressure system will be moving in from the west on Thursday causing rain to develop which may start out as a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain before quickly to change to all rain, little or no frozen accumulation is expected, rainfall amounts will be around an inch before ending early Friday morning.

Clearing on Friday and it will be windy with slightly below normal temperatures.

Milder over the weekend and at this time it appears that we should remain dry.

This dry weather will continue into next week with seasonably mild temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in the Clifton area to the upper 30s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure will build into our region from Ontario and give us a mostly sunny day but with high temperatures around 10 degrees lower than what was recorded on Monday.  Freeze warnings are in effect for much of the area tonight as clear skies and light winds will cause temperatures to fall to the freezing mark in the Clifton area to the 20s inland.

Another cool day on Wednesday along with mostly sunny skies.

A low pressure system will approach the area on Thursday with rain moving into the area in the morning that may briefly start as snow especially inland where an inch or so may accumulate over higher elevations of northwest New Jersey and the Poconos.  Rain will taper off to showers and should end by Friday morning.

A weak disturbance will give us a chance of light showers on Saturday and Saturday night, with dry conditions and seasonably cool temperatures on Sunday.

At this point Halloween looks to be dry with seasonably cool temperatures continuing.
