Skies are  partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the low 50s in Clifton to near 40 in some of the inland valleys, winds are light.

We will have another mild day today with light winds and some broken high clouds.  For those who love Mondays today will be the 20th straight Monday without any measurable precipitation.

Even milder Tuesday through Friday with most highs above the 70 degree mark, at this time we should stay dry the entire week but there is a weak disturbance moving through Thursday into Friday but at this time there is only a very slight chance of rain affected our area.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday, temperatures will still be a above normal on Saturday but drop to near normal on Sunday.

CLIFTON OCTOBER 2015 CLIMATE SUMMARY –   Temperatures were slightly above normal, precipitation was slightly above normal with almost all of the rainfall for the month occurring in storms on the 2nd into the 3rd and another storm on the 28th into the 29th.

Good Sunday morning, I hope everyone enjoyed the extra hour of sleep last night.  Skies are cloudy early this morning and there are some showers mainly across the Hudson Valley, temperatures are quite uniform around the area ranging from the upper 40s in Clifton to the mid 40s in some spots, winds are light.

Today will start off cloudy and there is a slight chance of some sprinkles this morning, breaks of sun should occur this afternoon, temperatures will be around 10 degrees higher than we experienced on Saturday,  it will be a bit breezy this afternoon.

Very nice weather for the first week of November with no rain expected through Friday and temperatures will be more like what is normal for the beginning of October.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday possibly touching off a shower followed by more normal temperatures for this time of year.

Looking further ahead it appears that after a brief cool down temperatures will again reach above normal levels next week.

Skies are clear and with nearly calm winds temperatures have fallen to the chilly mid 30s here in Clifton ranging down to the mid 20s in the inland valleys.

Today will start off sunny but we should see some increase in clouds by this afternoon, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than on Friday but with much lighter winds it will be comfortable for trick or treating.

Tomorrow will we have cloudy skies in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, it will be milder with highs well up into the 60s.

A weak disturbance to our south will pass offshore on Monday, precipitation from this system may clip southern New Jersey with some light rain but our area should remain dry.

Dry and unseasonably warm weather Tuesday through the end of the week with most highs around the 70 degree mark.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s in some of the colder valleys, there is a light westerly wind.

Today we will have mostly sunny skies as high pressure builds into the area, high temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

More sunshine for Halloween, temperatures will be slightly below normal but with light winds it should be excellent weather for the trick or treaters.

A weak disturbance will move to our south Sunday and Monday causing considerable cloudiness but rain from the system should stay to our south, temperatures will be moderating to slightly above normal levels.

Indian summer weather next week or should I say Native American summer or Second summer to be more politically correct, temperatures will be well above normal Tuesday through Friday with most highs around 70 degrees with no precipitation expected.

It is quite mild this Thursday morning and the last of the rain will be moving offshore shortly, temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s inland.  Approximately 2.5″ of rainfall has fallen since yesterday morning.

After early morning showers today we will see clearing and it will be very mild and breezy today with highs reaching the low 70s.  A cold front will cross the area late in the day bringing in cooler air for tonight.

Tomorrow and Saturday will feature plenty of sunshine with seasonably cool temperatures.

On Sunday we should have considerable cloudiness with a slight chance of a light shower, temperatures will be a little milder.

Next week will be quite mild and mainly dry with temperatures around ten degrees warmer than normal.
