A weak low pressure offshore will give us more precipitation today, light freezing rain should change to light snow this morning and end later this afternoon or this evening. Additional accumulations of 1-2 inches are likely.

Another weak low pressure will likely give us some light snow changing to rain on Monday, as of now only a dusting of snow is possible before the changeover to rain.

Tuesday through Thursday look to be dry with milder temperatures.

Low pressure is developing along the southeast coast and is expected to slowly move up the coast. Snow should develop around 9-10 a.m. and continue into tonight. It appears that most of the snow will be light but the heaviest accumulations should be between late this morning into the middle of this afternoon. Some light snow will continue into tonight.

More mainly light snow will likely fall on Friday. Total accumulations from the storm will average between 4-8 inches.

The weekend will be dry but chilly. Saturday will be windy with less wind on Sunday.

Another low pressure will likely give us some light snow Monday morning changing to light rain Monday afternoon.

Dry and milder Tuesday and Wednesday.

After a quick preview of spring with highs in the 50s yesterday today will be much colder with high temperatures struggling to reach the freezing mark despite plenty of sunshine. Northwest wind will be gusty this morning but diminish in the afternoon.

Another snowstorm is expected for Thursday into at least Friday morning as low pressure develops off the Carolina coast and moves northeast. Snow should develop by daybreak on Thursday and continue into Friday morning possibly mixed with sleet at times, especially Thursday night into Friday morning. Accumulations will average around 5-9 inches across the area.

The weekend should be dry and chilly with highs in the 30s both days.

Another low pressure will give us a chance of snow or rain on Monday with the precipitation type depending on the track of the storm.

Dry and a little milder on Tuesday.

Rain is falling across the area early on this Tuesday morning with some freezing rain well to our north and west. Temperatures range from 34 in Clifton down to 30 at High Point. Winds are mainly from the northeast around 10 mph.

Low pressure that caused the overnight rain is moving offshore and the rain should end by around 9 a.m. followed by some clearing this afternoon. Temperatures will be milder with most highs reaching the 40s.

A cold front will cross the area tonight and colder Arctic air will be with us on Wednesday with highs just above freezing.

The next storm system will affect our area on Thursday which will give our area plowable snow during the day with the precipitation mixing with sleet late at night and change to rain before ending on Friday.

The upcoming weekend will likely be dry with below normal temperatures.

Another weather low pressure area will give us a chance of rain and snow on Monday.

It appears that the pattern will change next week with near or above normal temperatures.

Low pressure developing over the southeast states will cause cloudy and chilly conditions today with a chance of some light freezing rain mixed with sleet.

As the low pressure gets closer to our area we will have heavier freezing rain tonight changing to plain rain Tuesday morning. About a tenth of an inch of ice is expected in the Clifton area but above a quarter inch of ice across inland areas of the area where an ice storm warning is in effect. Clearing and milder Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday will be a dry but chilly day, but at least it will be mostly sunny.

Another significant storm is expected Thursday into Friday with snow during the day Thursday changing to rain by Friday morning.
