Cooler, windy and dry Tuesday!


After a nice mild day yesterday gusty northwest winds brought in more seasonable temperatures this morning ranging from near 40 degrees in the Clifton area to the 30s inland.
Today will be a breezy and cooler day with highs near 50. Chilly tonight with diminishing winds.
Wednesday’s highs will be a little lower than today but with lighter winds it will feel more comfortable.
Temperatures moderate Thursday and Friday with the next chance of rain will be late Friday night.
Showers will possibly continue on Saturday before another cold front swings through.
The coldest air of the season will likely be felt on Sunday and Monday.

The forecast: Today – Sunny, breezy and cooler, high near 50.
Tonight – Clear with diminishing winds, lows in the upper 20s.
Wednesday – Sunny, high in the mid-upper 40s.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.
Friday – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 50s, chance of showers late at night.
Saturday – Cloudy with a chance of showers, highs in the low-mid 50s.

Showers ending becoming a mild but windy Monday!


A weakening squall line moved through around 4am giving us some heavy rain showers and brief wind gusts, most of the showers are moving offshore at the present time. It is quite mild with temperatures in the middle 50s.
Today skies will become partly cloudy, wind gusts may approach 40 MPH, temperatures will be quite mild through midday before dropping later in the afternoon.
Tonight another cold front will come through dry but colder air will follow this front.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be quite cool, winds will still be on the breezy side on Tuesday but diminish on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will be dry and a bit milder.
The next chance of rain will be with another cold front on Saturday, followed by much colder weather on Sunday.

Mild and dry Sunday; Strong cold front to give us showers and wind late tonight!


Early this morning we have cloudy skies with temperatures in the area mostly in the mid-upper 40s.
There will be some breaks in the clouds today with only a slight chance of a shower, it will be mild with highs reaching the 60s.
A very strong cold front will be approaching our area tonight. A note that this front will possibly cause a widespread severe outbreak in the Midwest today with a high chance of damaging winds and tornadoes, rather rare for November.
This cold front will weaken before reaching our area during the early morning hours on Monday but we still may see some thunderstorms and brief very strong winds.
Following the front on Monday we will have clearing skies but still with mild temperatures during the day then cooler late in the day and at night.
Tuesday will be cooler with a brisk wind.
Winds become light for Wednesday through Friday with dry conditions and seasonably cool temperatures.
Another cold front will cross the area next Saturday with showers followed by much colder weather next Sunday.

Tonight – Cloudy with a chance of evening showers, showers becoming more likely after midnight with a thunderstorm possible along with strong gusty winds, low in the mid 50s.
Monday – Chance of showers before 9am then clearing, windy and mild, highs in the mid 60s.
Tuesday – Sunny, windy and cooler, high near 50.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.
Thursday – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.
Friday – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

Outlook – Small craft advisory issued from midnight tonight till noon on Monday.
Advisories will likely be continued into Tuesday then drop below advisory levels from Wednesday through Friday.

Fair and mild Saturday after morning light rain!


Temperatures this morning are mild with readings in the low 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s further inland. An area of very light rain will be moving offshore this morning and skies will becoming partly sunny and it will be mild with highs near the 60 degree mark.
Despite mostly cloudy skies Sunday will be even a few degrees higher.
A strong cold front will be approaching our area late Sunday night and moving to our east on Monday morning, this front is likely to cause some heavy showers and even a possibility of a thunderstorm that may be accompanied by some brief strong wind gusts, it will be very mild Monday morning. Skies will clear later in the day with falling temperatures.
Tuesday will be cooler, breezy and dry.
Dry and cool weather will continue on Wednesday.
Slight moderation in temperatures at the end of the week with no precipitation expected.

Very pleasant Friday with mild temperatures and light winds!


Skies are partly cloudy over the area this morning with temperatures in the mid 30s in the Clifton area with some 20s in the inland valleys to our north and west.
Today will be a nice fall day with mild temperatures and lighter winds than the last few days, most highs will be in the comfortable upper 50s, skies will be partly to mostly sunny.
Mild weather for the weekend but rain chances increase on Sunday.
A cold front will move across the area on Monday with much needed rain likely as we have recorded less than an inch of rain since September 22nd.
Clearing and much cooler Tuesday through Thursday but I don’t believe it will be as chilly as it was during the middle of this week.
