Another round of rain will develop as a low pressure system approaches our area. Rain will develop this afternoon and become heavy at times tonight with a chance of a thunderstorm. Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches and a flood watch is in effect. Southeast winds will increase with some gusts to 25 mph.

The rain is expected to end before daybreak on Sunday and there will be a lull in the winds in the morning but increase in the afternoon. Variable amounts of clouds and sunshine but there be a chance of rain or even snow showers in the afternoon and evening.

Monday will be dry and cool but with strong gusty winds to near 40 mph will make it feel even cooler, most highs will be in the 40s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and milder but still breezy especially in the morning.

Very nice March weather is expected for most of the rest of next week with only a low chance of some showers on Friday. Most high temperatures will be in the 60s, note the average high for this period is only in the upper 40s.

Today will be a pleasant early March day with plenty of sunshine, light winds and highs in the mid 50s as high pressure dominates our weather.

Another storm system will cause increasing cloudiness tonight with rain developing Saturday afternoon and continue through around daybreak on Sunday. The coastal storm that gave us the rain yesterday is moving further away to near Nova Scotia as high pressure builds from the west. Today will be a mostly cloudy day, and it will breezy; high temperatures will not rise that much from the present readings with highs mostly in the mid 50s.

High pressure will be in control of our weather on Friday finally giving us a mostly sunny day with seasonably mild temperatures.

The third round of widespread rain can be expected mainly from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning with another inch or so of rainfall. The storm will move away on Sunday afternoon but it will remain mostly cloudy with increasing winds.

Mainly dry weather Monday through at least the middle of next week, Monday will be cool and breezy but it will become milder again Tuesday and Wednesday with lighter winds.

The second rain storm of the week will move into our area today with rain developing by early this afternoon and continuing heavy at times through tonight before tapering off to showers and ending on Thursday. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches likely and a flood watch is in effect.

Friday will be a very nice early March day with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.

The third rain storm of the week will affect our weather for the weekend with another 1-2″ of rain possible.

Dry but windy weather is expected for early next week as the low pressure moves to the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure builds from the west.
