Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and once again there is a wide range in temperatures with early readings ranging from 46 in Clifton down to 32 at Walpack and Basking Ridge. Much warmer south of a warm front as much of central and southern New Jersey readings are in the 60s. Winds are mainly calm.

Low pressure is moving into the Great Lakes while a warm front is just to our south as a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross the area this morning followed by a rather brisk westerly flow. Highs should be in the 50s.

Cooler weather for the weekend as high pressure builds into the area, highs both days will be in the upper 40s which is still nearly 10 degrees above normal.

A weak disturbance moving to our south will give us a chance of rain Monday morning that may be mixed with snow especially further inland.

Dry and mild weather can be expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Very mild on Thursday with highs rising to the 60s, a cold front may give us some showers in the afternoon and evening.

A storm system over the mid-Mississippi valley will move to the Great Lakes today and a warm front associated with the low will move to our north by this evening. We should see an increase in clouds with a low chance of light showers tonight. Temperatures will be in the 50s today and stay in the mild 50s tonight.

A cold front will cross the area on Friday with a brisk northwest flow, temperatures will continue to be in the 50s as the cooler air won’t arrive until Friday night.

Cooler over the weekend, Saturday should be dry but there is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning as a weak frontal system moves through the area.

Mild much of next week and after a dry Monday and Tuesday another frontal system may give us some showers on Wednesday.

The disturbance that gave us some light rain overnight has moved offshore and today will be a sunny day with mild temperatures and light winds.

A weak frontal system will cause cloudy skies on Thursday with a chance of light rain in the afternoon and at night. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than a tenth of an inch.

Friday looks to be a very nice day with plenty of sunshine and highs well up into the 50s.

Cooler weather is expected for the weekend with only a low chance of showers on Sunday.

Mild and mostly dry conditions early next week.

High pressure over the area this morning will move offshore and we should see an increase in clouds. With an onshore wind and more clouds high temperatures will be 5-10 degrees cooler than yesterday but with less wind. A weak disturbance will give us a chance of light rain later tonight.

Skies will clear on Wednesday as high pressure builds into our area and with mostly sunny skies temperatures will be milder.

A frontal system will likely give us rain Thursday afternoon and night.

Sunshine returns for Friday and tempertures will be unseasonably mild with highs approaching the 60 degree mark.

Unsettled weather for the weekend with cooler temperatures, at the present time it is unclear if we will get any rain on Saturday as much of the frontal system now looks to be mainly to our south. High pressure will return for Sunday.

At this point next week will continue with above to much above temperatures with little chance of any snowfall.
