Skies are mainly clear early on this Memorial Day morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 60 in Clifton down to 50 at Sandyston! Winds are calm or light southerly.

High pressure off the coast will give us a southwest flow of warmer air today along with plenty of sunshine, high temperatures will approach the 90 degree mark, the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the low to mid 60s.

Even hotter on Tuesday with some record high temperatures possible as highs will reach well up into the 90s along with continued mostly sunny skies. The humidity will continue to be moderate.

A back door cold front will move to our south on Wednesday with cooler temperatures especially along the coast, showers and thunderstorms are possible mainly in the afternoon and evening.

The frontal system will be slow to move to our south so there still will be a chance of showers Thursday evening into Friday, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

At this point next weekend’s weather look very nice with seasonably warm temperatures, low humidity and plenty of sunshine both days.

Much quieter weather today after the storms of the last couple of days as high pressure builds into our area. High temperatures today will reach near 80 and the humidity will be low with dew points in the 50s.

A southwest flow will bring warmer air into our region on Memorial Day with a slow increase in humidity, skies will be mostly sunny. High temperatures will approach the 90 degree mark with dew points in the 60s.

Very hot on Tuesday with sunny skies, high temperatures will be well up into the 90s with some records possible. Humidity will not be oppressively with dew points remaining in the low to mid 60s.

A back door cold front may move through the area on Wednesday with cooler temperatures but still above normal for this time of year.

The next chance of showers will be from Wednesday afternoon through Friday as a weak frontal system moves into our area. Temperatures will be at or slightly above normal.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

A cold front will slowly move offshore today as an upper level low is in our area, this will cause some additional showers and thunderstorms mainly from late this morning through the afternoon. High temperatures with the clouds and showers will be slightly lower than yesterday with highs in the upper 70s. Some storms may be accompanied by small hail and gusty winds.

High pressure then will build over the area Sunday and on Memorial Day providing plenty of sunshine both days with pleasantly warm temperatures on Sunday but become hot and a little more humid on Memorial Day. This Memorial holiday weekend will be much better than last year when rain fell Saturday and Sunday with highs only 49 degrees both days, last Memorial Day the weather was better with clearing and a high near 70.

Tuesday will be the hottest day of this upcoming week with highs well up into the 90s.

A back door cold front will cause cooler temperatures on Wednesday but still above normal.

Seasonably warm Thursday and Friday but a frontal system may cause some showers both days.

High pressure moving off the New England coast will continue with a light onshore flow of cool air along with mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday’s readings. Tonight a southerly flow of more humid air will give us a chance of light rain or drizzle mainly after 8 p.m.

A frontal system will likely give us showers, some heavy on Friday mainly in the afternoon and evening, despite plenty of clouds, high temperatures will reach near 80 along with higher humidity.

Still a chance of showers on Saturday as the front moves through the area, however the day will not be a complete washout. High temperatures will once again be near 80.

The rest of the holiday weekend should stay dry with warm temperatures.
