Weak high pressure over our area will give us a mostly sunny day, but it will continue to be on the cool side with highs mainly in the mid 70s. Clouds will increase tonight as a frontal system approaches and showers are likely late tonight.

The frontal system in our area will likely give us showers on Monday and possibly some thunderstorms, temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal.

The frontal system will move offshore on Tuesday, but we will have a lower chance of some afternoon or evening showers.

High pressure will then build into our area providing us with dry conditions, temperatures will be near normal Wednesday and Thursday and rise to above normal readings on Friday.

At this point next weekend looks to be warm with possibly some showers on Saturday.

High pressure off the New England coast will give us a light onshore flow of cool air, skies will be partly sunny. There is a slight chance of a light shower today but most areas will remain dry.

Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day with an onshore flow continuing, temperatures will be slightly below normal. Again there is a slight chance of a shower but most areas will remain dry.

A weakening frontal system will give us a chance of afternoon and evening showers on Sunday. Temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal with highs mainly in the mid 70s.

A little warmer Monday and Tuesday but the chance of showers will continue as the front moves through the area.

High pressure should then dominate our weather Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine both days along with low humidity and near seasonable temperatures.

A cold front is sagging to our south this morning and we should have a mostly sunny day today with high temperatures in the 80s, along with much lower humidity. It will be a nice change after our five day early June heat wave.

A weak frontal system may cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, highs will be around 80.

Dry weather is then expected Monday through Wednesday with near normal temperatures continuing as there is no sign of another heat wave for at least the next two weeks.

Today will be the last day of our current heatwave as the Bermuda high pressure will move further off the coast and a cold front approaches from the north. We should have partly sunny skies this morning then a good chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The storms should not be as widespread as yesterday, but there still may be an isolated strong storm with gusty winds and heavy rain. High temperatures will be near 90 and with dew points near 70 will make it another uncomfortable day.

The cold front should move through our area late tonight and Thursday should be a cooler day with much less humidity. Hopefully we clear out tomorrow morning so we can see the partial eclipse of the sun around dawn.

Friday will be dry with slightly cooler than normal temperatures.

After having weekend that were either in the 90s or 40s the past 3 weeks this weekend looks to be pleasantly warm with highs near 80 both days along with plenty of sunshine.

A chance of showers on Monday will be followed by dry weather on Tuesday, temperatures will continue to be seasonably warm.
