Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some light showers in parts of the area, temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are from the north.

The low pressure responsible for the rain yesterday has moved offshore southeast of Cape Cod but a cyclonic flow will keep clouds around with quite cool temperatures. Some light rain is likely especially this afternoon but rainfall amounts will be light with only a few hundreds of an inch expected.

High pressure will then build into the area on Tuesday giving us sunny skies with milder temperatures.

Another storm system will again give us rain Wednesday afternoon through Thursday tapering off to showers on Friday, rainfall amounts will be around an inch. Temperatures will be not as chilly as yesterday and today.

At this point the weekend looks dry with near or slightly above normal temperatures.

After a pleasantly mild day yesterday a storm system will move into our area from the west. Rain will develop this morning and continue through the afternoon. The heaviest rain will likely occur from mid morning into the middle part of this afternoon. Temperatures will be well below normal and with brisk northeast winds it will feel even cooler. The rain will taper off to drizzle of light rain tonight. Rainfall amounts of .50 to .75 of an inch expected.

Monday will be a cloudy and cool day with lingering showers.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and milder.

Another storm system will likely give us more rain possibly heavy Wednesday afternoon through Thursday before tapering off to showers on Friday, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry and milder.

High pressure building into the area today will give our area mostly sunny skies today, high temperatures will be around 10 degrees warmer than yesterday but still be a little below normal.

A storm system will give us rain on Sunday possibly heavy at times, rainfall amounts will be between 1.0 and 1.5 inches. With the clouds and precipitation with an onshore flow high temperatures will be similar to yesterday.

Some lingering showers and cool on Monday as the low pressure moves offshore.

After a nice and dry day on Tuesday we will likely have more rain Wednesday night through Friday, temperatures however will be not as cool as Sunday and Monday.

Today will be cool with increasing clouds as high pressure moves offshore and a storm system approaches our area. Although there is a slight chance of a shower during the day most of today will be dry with rain developing late tonight and continue through Friday night. Rainfall amounts will be near one inch.

Another storm system will cause more rain in our area on Sunday which will likely continue into parts of Monday, temperatures will be cool.
