Very warm and extremely humid weather today through the weekend with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day!


Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are warm with readings ranging from the mid 70s here in Clifton to around 70 further inland, humidity is also high with dew points in the low 70s.

A stretch of very warm and very humid conditions will be with us from today through the weekend as a Bermuda high pressure will produce a south-southwest flow of tropical air.  Today we will see considerable cloudiness with a chance of showers and thunderstorms some of these storms may be accompanied by heavy rain, with the clouds temperatures  should fall short of the 90 degree mark but with dew points in the 70s will make it feel quite uncomfortable.

Temperatures will be even hotter Thursday through the weekend with a continued chance of showers again accompanied by heavy rain, with dew points in the 70s will cause heat indexes over 100 degrees in many areas each day.

Slightly less hot and humid early next week but still shower chances will continue.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine with warm tempertures, humidity levels will still be on the comfortable side but should increase tonight.

Tomorrow will be a mainly cloudy day and become more humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening, with the cloud cover temperatures should stay below the 90 mark but the humidity will make it feel quite uncomfortable.

Hazy hot and very humid weather will be with us Thursday through the weekend, we will have chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each day, with some sunshine temperatures will reach and exceed the 90 degree mark each day and with dew points in the sultry 70s it will be very oppressive.

Still humid on Monday but with a better chance of clouds and showers.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from around 70 in the Clifton area to the upper 50s in some of the inland valleys, winds are light and we have comfortable humidity.

High pressure over the area will give us plenty of sunshine both today and on Tuesday with continued warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

Quite warm and increasing humid weather starts on Wednesday and last through the weekend as a Bermuda high pressure ridge builds into our area, with the heat and humidity we will have chances of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday with a chance of more widespread shower activity over the weekend.  With temperatures near 90 each day and dew points in the 70s will make it feel very uncomfortable.

High pressure building into the area will cause plenty of sunshine today through Tuesday, temperatures will be quite warm each day but the humidity levels will be comfortable with most dew points in the 50s.

A front will be in our area Wednesday through next weekend, temperatures will be very warm to hot but the humidity will increase with dew points rising to the oppressive 70s, along with the humidity there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.

Quite warm and humid today with some thunderstorms likely! Still warm but much less humid tomorrow through Tuesday!


Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy across the area early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are warmer than the last couple of mornings ranging from near 70 in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will have mostly cloudy skies it will become quite warm and more humid and as a cold front approaches we should likely see some afternoon thunderstorm activity, some storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.   The threat of rain will diminish this evening as the cold front moves offshore and it will become less humid.

Fine summer weather tomorrow through Tuesday with plenty of sunshine each day, seasonably warm temperatures and comfortable humidity as high pressure will be in control.

Warmer and more humid Wednesday through the end of the week with the best chance of showers on Wednesday and then again on Friday as a front will be stationary near our area.
