Dry and tranquil weather through at least early next week with a warming trend!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and with light winds there is a rather large spread in temperatures ranging from the low 40s here in Clifton to some upper 20s in the normally colder valleys.

High pressure will be in control of our weather through the weekend providing our area with plenty of sunshine each day with a gradual warm up in temperatures with highs near 60 today rising to the upper 60s by Sunday.

Warmer on Monday with highs in the 70s but a cold front will cross the area on Monday night or Tuesday morning with only a slight chance of a shower followed by seasonably cool and contined dry weather for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fantastic spring weather the next several days with dry conditions along with a warming trend by the weekend!


We have clear skies early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the mid 30s here in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine, temperatures will be a little below normal with highs in the upper 50s.

Fair weather with slightly below normal temperatures Thursday and Friday with highs both days approaching 60 and nighttime lows in the 30s with some frost possible in the early morning on both days.

Excellent weather continuing over the weekend into next week with no rain in sight, temperatures will become warmer with highs in the 60s on Saturday and the 70s Sunday and Monday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning with rain showers in the area, temperatures are quite mild with most readings in the low 50s, winds are light.

A cold front will be crossing the area this morning giving us more showers mainly this morning, we should see some sunshine this afternoon but only a low chance of a shower.

High pressure will build into the area from the north and dominate the weather the next several days with sunny days and mostly clear nights, temperatures will be slightly below normal Wednesday through Friday, near normal on Saturday and above normal Sunday and Monday.

Milder with showers today and on Tuesday! Dry weather Wednesday through the weekend!


Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some light showers or sprinkles falling in parts of the area, temperatures are quite a bit milder than over the weekend with low 40s here in Clifton ranging down to the upper 30s inland, winds are light.

Today will be cloudy with occasional light showers, temperatures will be milder with highs in the upper 50s, winds will become gusty this afternoon out of the south.

Showers will persist into Tuesday morning as a cold front approaches and passes through in the afternoon, highs will be similar as today’s.

It now appears that we will enjoy a rather nice stretch of dry weather Wednesday through the weekend as high pressure builds into the area from the north, temperatures will be slightly below normal on Wednesday gradually warming up to above normal levels over the weekend.

Sunshine but continued quite cool today! Milder with a chance of showers on Monday with rain likely on Tuesday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are unseasonably cool ranging from the upper 20s here in Clifton to the low 20s in some of the inland areas, there is a brisk northwest wind.    Yesterday we only had some mixed rain and snow in the afternoon with no accumulation however 1-3 inches fell across the southern parts of New Jersey.

We will have plenty of sunshine today as high pressure builds into the area but it will be cool with highs only in the upper 40s which is around 10 degrees below normal, brisk winds will diminish this afternoon.  Increasing cloudiness this evening.

On Monday a warm front will move north of the area giving us cloudy skies with milder temperatures and a chance of rain showers.

A cold front passing through the area on Tuesday will likely give us some rain.

A period of mainly dry weather with temperatures slightly below normal Wednesday through next weekend, however models are indicating a weak coastal low offshore that may give coastal areas more clouds and a slight chance of showers.
