Record breaking heat today! Not as hot but more humid on Wednesday with a chance of showers! Heavy rain possible on Thursday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite warm with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton to the low 60s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Record breaking heat likely today as high pressure continues to give us plenty of sunshine, highs will rise into the mid 90s, humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Not as hot on Wednesday as we should have more cloudiness along with a chance of showers by evening, it will become more humid with dew points reaching the oppressive 70s.

A slow moving frontal system will likely give our area a much needed widespread rain event on Thursday, it will continue to be very humid, the rain may be heavy at times possibly leading to some flash flooding.

The front will move offshore on Friday with clearing skies and less humid conditions.

Seasonable warm over the weekend but we will have a chance of showers mainly Sunday afternoon.

Dry weather will return with comfortable temperatures early next week.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine along with hot temperatures, humidity will be slowly rising.

Tomorrow and Wednesday the heat will continue along with higher humidity as high pressure moves off the coast.

A front will be moving into the area on Thursday that will likely give the area some well needed rainfall,  it will be not as hot with the cloud cover but it will be very humid.

Still a chance of showers on Friday with decreasing temperatures and humidity.

At this point the weekend looks mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

High pressure will give us plenty of sunshine again today, temperatures will be a little higher than on Saturday reaching the mid 80s.

Hot weather for Labor Day extending to at least Wednesday as high pressure moves offshore and a southwest flow develops increasing the temperature and humidity.

A front will be approaching the area on Thursday increasing the chances of showers and thunderstorms.  The front will be slow to move so rain chances will continue Friday into Saturday.  It will be very humid on Thursday with a little lower humidity Friday and Saturday.

Skies are mostly clear early this Saturday morning and temperatures are a little lower than this time yesterday ranging from the mid 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

A high pressure ridge is over the northeast and will provide bright sunny skies, seasonably warm temperatures today along with low humidity.

More of the same on Sunday with continued plenty of sunshine, temperatures and the humidity will be a little higher than today.

A heat wave will begin on Labor Day and last till at least Wednesday, it will be gradually more humid also, but no rain should occur.

A cold front will be approaching the area on Thursday and slowly move through our area by Saturday, it won’t be as hot but will  continue to be humid and there  is a chance of showers Thursday into Saturday.

Not as warm today with some cloudiness! Great holiday weekend weather! Another heatwave next week and the dry pattern should continue!


Skies are mostly clear early this Friday morning and it is warm once again as temperatures range from the low 70s in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is moderate with dew points in the mid 60s.

A cold front is now moving south of our area and today will not be as warm as the last few days and an onshore flow will develop along with an increase in cloud cover, humidity levels will slowly decrease as the day goes on,  it will be breezy especially down in the shore areas.

Outstanding weather for the holiday weekend as high pressure takes control, Saturday will be seasonably warm with low humidity.  Temperatures and humidity will slowly rise Sunday and on Labor Day, no rain is expected.

Another heat wave next week possibly not ending till around Friday as a front comes through.  The dry pattern of the last few weeks will continue with only a chance of a shower with the front on Thursday.
