Warm with some scattered thunderstorms today! Dry and less humid on Thursday! Holiday weekend mainly dry!


We have cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area to the low 60s further inland, winds are light and it is rather muggy.  Strong thunderstorms that affected the Clifton area around 4:30 a.m. have moved to our east after dumping around 1/2 inch of rain in about 30 minutes, the storms were accompanied by frequent lightning.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with still a risk of a shower or thunderstorm, temperatures will be warm.

Dry with plenty of sunshine both today and on Friday with lower humidity.

Independance Day should be mainly dry but I can’t rule out a shower in the afternoon.

Mostly sunny and warmer on Sunday!

Skies are mostly cloudy on this last day of June and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s inland, winds are light.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing later this afternoon, temperatures and humidity will be a little higher today.

Showers and thunderstorms become more likely late tonight through Wednesday morning as a warm front approaches, still a chance of more showers in the afternoon, temperatures will be seasonably warm.

Thursday will be a mainly dry day but an afternoon showers is still possible.

The holiday weekend at this time should be seasonably warm and again mainly dry but there is a chance of afternoon showers on the 4th.

Still no indications of any heat waves through the middle of July.

We have partly cloudy skies early this Monday morning and temperatures are pleasantly cool ranging from around 60 in Clifton to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be a very pleasant late June day with plenty of sunshine and comfortably warm temperatures and humidity.

On Tuesday we should stay dry during the day but shower and thunderstorm chances increase at night.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Wednesday.

Thursday should be another pleasant dry day with seasonably warm temperatures.

For the time being we will forecast a dry holiday weekend with seasonably warm temperatures but I won’t be surprised if we see a shower or two especially on Friday and on the 4th.

There is no sign of any heat waves for our area through the first couple weeks of July.

Steady rain is ending, some sun this afternoon but still a chance of showers! Nice weather on Monday!


Skies are cloudy early this Sunday morning and some drizzle is falling, temperatures are around the 60 degree mark and there is a light northeast wind.  1.34″ of rain has fallen in Clifton since yesterday afternoon.

The steady rain has tapered off to some drizzle which should end later this morning then we should see some sunshine as a low pressure moves offshore, however we can still see some afternoon showers and thunderstorms, with the sunshine temperatures should rise to near the 80 degree mark.

Monday will be a nice day with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

Another frontal system may cause showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday but there will be some sunshine, it will be a little warmer and more humid.

We should be dry during the day on Thursday but some showers are possible at night.

As we head into the holiday weekend temperatures will be near normal, there will be some sunshine but there still will be a chance of showers Friday and on Independence Day,  Sunday looks dry with warm temperatures.

Rain developing this afternoon becoming heavy at times tonight! Showers on Sunday mainly in the morning!


Skies have become cloudy early this morning, temperatures are mainly in the mid 60s, winds are light.

A rather impressive low pressure for late June will move into the area causing rain to develop this afternoon, the rain will become heavy at times tonight with some possible thunderstorms, rain amounts will be averaging 1-2 inches with some higher totals,  rather brisk easterly winds will also accompany the storm, highs will only be in the low 70s.

Rain will taper off to showers Sunday morning, most of the showers will occur in the morning with a lower chance of some showers in the afternoon and evening, some afternoon sunshine will help temperatures to rise to around 80.  Winds will become westerly behind the low pressure and still be brisk during the afternoon and early evening, diminishing at night.

Monday looks to be quite nice with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperature.

More showers possible Tuesday as a frontal system moves through the area.

Wednesday and Thursday appear to be dry and seasonably warm.

More showers are again possible on Friday.
