Today will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing later this afternoon, temperatures and humidity will be a little higher today.

Showers and thunderstorms become more likely late tonight through Wednesday morning as a warm front approaches, still a chance of more showers in the afternoon, temperatures will be seasonably warm.

Thursday will be a mainly dry day but an afternoon showers is still possible.

The holiday weekend at this time should be seasonably warm and again mainly dry but there is a chance of afternoon showers on the 4th.

Still no indications of any heat waves through the middle of July.

We have partly cloudy skies early this Monday morning and temperatures are pleasantly cool ranging from around 60 in Clifton to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be a very pleasant late June day with plenty of sunshine and comfortably warm temperatures and humidity.

On Tuesday we should stay dry during the day but shower and thunderstorm chances increase at night.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Wednesday.

Thursday should be another pleasant dry day with seasonably warm temperatures.

For the time being we will forecast a dry holiday weekend with seasonably warm temperatures but I won’t be surprised if we see a shower or two especially on Friday and on the 4th.

There is no sign of any heat waves for our area through the first couple weeks of July.

Steady rain is ending, some sun this afternoon but still a chance of showers! Nice weather on Monday!


Skies are cloudy early this Sunday morning and some drizzle is falling, temperatures are around the 60 degree mark and there is a light northeast wind.  1.34″ of rain has fallen in Clifton since yesterday afternoon.

The steady rain has tapered off to some drizzle which should end later this morning then we should see some sunshine as a low pressure moves offshore, however we can still see some afternoon showers and thunderstorms, with the sunshine temperatures should rise to near the 80 degree mark.

Monday will be a nice day with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

Another frontal system may cause showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday but there will be some sunshine, it will be a little warmer and more humid.

We should be dry during the day on Thursday but some showers are possible at night.

As we head into the holiday weekend temperatures will be near normal, there will be some sunshine but there still will be a chance of showers Friday and on Independence Day,  Sunday looks dry with warm temperatures.

Rain developing this afternoon becoming heavy at times tonight! Showers on Sunday mainly in the morning!


Skies have become cloudy early this morning, temperatures are mainly in the mid 60s, winds are light.

A rather impressive low pressure for late June will move into the area causing rain to develop this afternoon, the rain will become heavy at times tonight with some possible thunderstorms, rain amounts will be averaging 1-2 inches with some higher totals,  rather brisk easterly winds will also accompany the storm, highs will only be in the low 70s.

Rain will taper off to showers Sunday morning, most of the showers will occur in the morning with a lower chance of some showers in the afternoon and evening, some afternoon sunshine will help temperatures to rise to around 80.  Winds will become westerly behind the low pressure and still be brisk during the afternoon and early evening, diminishing at night.

Monday looks to be quite nice with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperature.

More showers possible Tuesday as a frontal system moves through the area.

Wednesday and Thursday appear to be dry and seasonably warm.

More showers are again possible on Friday.

Today will be a partly cloudy to mostly cloudy day and we should remain dry and with some periods of sunshine temperatures should rise to around 80.

A low pressure system will moving into the area causing rain from late morning on Saturday tapering off to shower Sunday morning, highs on Saturday will mainly be in the 60s so not a good day for outside activities.   Some linger showers Sunday afternoon other we may see some sun and highs will reach the upper 70s.

Next week looks mainly seasonably warm with the only chance of shower around about Tuesday.

Another pleasantly warm summer day today! Rain likely late tonight into Friday morning! More rain and cool over the weekend!


Skies are clear at daybreak this morning and temperatures are on the cool side ranging from the low 60s in Clifton to the low 50s in some colder inland spots, winds are light and the humidity is low.

If you liked yesterday’s weather you will like today’s as high  pressure over the area will give us plenty of sunshine with warm temperatures and low humidity.

Rain is likely after midnight and continue to around noon on Friday, during the day Friday we will remain cloudy with cool temperatures.

More significant rain is in the cards from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning, 1-2 inches of rain is expected, temperatures will remain on the cool side.

More seasonably warm temperatures as we head into next week with a chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pleasantly warm Wednesday! Rain Thursday night into Friday morning! Chilly weekend with periods of rain!


Skies are mostly clear early this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to some upper 50s inland, there is a nice breeze and the humidity levels have dropped.

Yesterday the anticipated storms did not affect the Clifton area where only .02 inches of rain was recorded but other areas were hard hit especially Southern New Jersey where high winds knocked out power for thousands of customers.

Today will be a much more tranquil day as we will have plenty of sunshine, low humidity and pleasantly warm temperatures.

We should see some increasing cloudiness on Thursday with a chance of rain in the afternoon but the rain will be more likely at night ending by noon on Friday.

After the rain on Friday morning we should see some sunshine in the afternoon with pleasant temperatures.

The weekend at this point looks to be unseasonably cool with periods of rain mostly falling Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.

Sunshine returns for early next week with pleasantly warm temperatures.

Hot today with severe thunderstorms likely this afternoon and evening!


We have partly cloudy skies early this Tuesday morning and temperatures are starting off quite mild with readings in the low 70s in Clifton to some low 60s further inland, winds are light.

Today should be a very interesting weather day as first it will be quite hot then severe thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening, some of these storms will be accompanied by locally damaging winds, hail, heavy rain and cloud to ground lightning, even an isolated tornado can not be ruled out.  The Storm Prediction Center has our area in an “enhanced risk” for severe thunderstorms which is rare for this part of the country.  A cold front will cross the area tonight ending the severe threat.

Wednesday will be cooler than today and much less humid with plenty of sunshine.

Thursday will still be comfortable warm but we should see some increasing cloudiness late in the day with showers possible at night.

Showers should persist Friday through the weekend, most of the rain will be light, temperatures will be unseasonably cool especially over the weekend.

Dry weather early next week but temperatures are expected to remain below normal.

We have clear skies early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area to the low 60s further inland, there is a light northwesterly wind.

We will have plenty of sunshine today for the first full day of summer, temperatures will rise to near 90 but the humidity will not be oppressive.

Hot and humid on Tuesday and as a cold front approaches we may see some strong afternoon and evening thunderstorms, if we get enough sunshine during the day temperatures may rise well up into the 90s along with high humidity.

Mostly sunny and not as warm on Wednesday with lower humidity.

Unsettled weather Thursday through the weekend, there will be a chance of showers during the period but no widespread rain is expected, temperature will average slightly below normal.

Steady rain ending this morning becoming quite warm with possible thunderstorms this afternoon!


We have light rain early this morning along with some fog, temperatures are mostly around the 70 degree mark with very high humidity.

Much less rain occurred in our area than what was forecasted with only slightly over 1/4 of an inch of rain falling through 6 a.m. this morning.  The steady rain should end around 10 a.m. and we may see some clearing, it will becoming quite warm and continue to be humid and as a cold front approaches we may see some afternoon showers and thunderstorms develop.  Summer arrives at 12:38 this afternoon.

Monday will be quite warm and dry with plenty of sunshine, humidity levels will be somewhat lower.

Tuesday looks to be hot with some readings in the mid 90s along with higher humidity and as another front approaches we may see some more shower and thunderstorm activity.

Wednesday looks to be seasonably warm and dry with plenty of sunshine.

Shower chances increase for later in the week, temperatures will be at or slightly below normal.
