Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton to some mid  50s further inland, there is a light northeast wind.

The biggest change in the forecast is for a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon however the heavier rain associated with Bill will not move into the area until later tonight, temperatures will be cool with highs only in the mid 70s.

The heavy rain will continue into tomorrow morning and there may be a lull in the precipitation around midday but there will be a chance of more afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, temperatures will be warmer along with high humidity.  Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches with some higher amounts possible, a flood watch is in effect for the area.

Monday looks to be dry and quite warm.

Quite warm again on Tuesday but with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches.

Dry and seasonably warm on Wednesday.

More chances of showers Thursday and Friday with highs slightly below normal.

Some light showers have moved into the Clifton area and temperatures are mostly in the mid 60s in the area along with humid conditions and nearly calm winds.

We will have some showers continuing part of this morning as a warm front followed by a cold front moves through the area, after the fronts pass it will become mostly sunny and quite warm but the humidity will slowly lower throughout the afternoon.

Saturday will be an outstanding late spring day with comfortable temperatures and humidities.

The remnants of former Tropical Storm Bill will cause rain to develop after 10 p.m. Saturday night and continue on Father’s Day, some of the rain will be heavy and it will be humid, expect an average of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.

Warm Monday and Tuesday with some thunderstorms possible on Tuesday as a cold front moves through the area.

Dry with seasonably warm temperatures Wednesday and Thursday.

Looking ahead there are no heat waves expected through the beginning of July with temperatures slightly below normal.

Skies are mainly cloudy early this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to around 60 inland, winds are nearly calm.  There are some showers across Central and Southern parts of New Jersey.

Today will be a cloudy day with a chance of some light showers, with the clouds and an onshore flow temperatures will be cool.  A cold front will cross the area late tonight or early Friday morning causing some shower and thunderstorms activity.

Friday will be warmer with plenty of sunshine.

Cooler on Saturday but will be dry until late at night, a rather nice day for outside activities.

The remnants of Bill will give us a chance of showers late Saturday night into Sunday, some of this rain may be heavy.

Unsettled weather Monday though Wednesday, it will be seasonably warm, the best chance of shower activity looks to be around Tuesday night.

We have clear skies early this Wednesday morning, temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s in some of the cooler interior areas, winds are from the north around 5-10 mph.

Today we will finally have a nice late spring day with plenty of sunshine and comfortably warm temperatures as high pressure builds into the area.

Increasing cloudiness tonight and Thursday looks to be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers, most of the rain will be on the light side.

Friday will start off mostly cloudy but sunshine will return as another high builds into the area, temperatures will be warm.

Dry weather will continue through most of Saturday but showers are expected to develop at night and continue into Sunday some of this rain may be heavy as some of the remnants from Tropical Depression Bill moves into the area.

Early next week looks warm and dry.

Skies are cloudy with some fog early this morning and temperatures are mainly in the mid 60s, it is still quite humid, winds are light.   Three inches of rain fell in Clifton from Sunday evening through yesterday evening.

A warm front will cross the area this morning and temperatures will rise back well up into the 80s, more showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly falling this afternoon,  some heavy rain may accompany some of these storms.

A cold front will move through the area tonight and Wednesday will be cooler and less humid along with plenty of sunshine.

Another frontal system will likely cause showers once again Thursday into early Friday morning.  Friday should be a nice day with seasonably warm temperatures.

At this time it looks like most of Saturday will be dry but showers are expected to develop at night.

We have cloudy and muggy conditions early this morning, the bulk of the rain has moved to the east but there are still some scattered showers and drizzle in the area, just over an inch of rain has fallen in Clifton since yesterday evening.  Temperatures are mainly in the mid to upper 60s.

Today will be mainly cloudy but there may be some sunshine during the day, there may be a lull in the showers until this afternoon when showers and thunderstorms again become likely, some storms may produce some more heavy rain, temperatures will be rather warm especially if we get some sunshine.

Warm again on Tuesday with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms as a cold front crosses the area.

Wednesday appears to be the nicest day of the upcoming week with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures along with lower humidity levels.

More shower chances again on Thursday followed by a dry Friday.

It is a very warm early Saturday morning with temperatures ranging from the low-mid 70s in the Clifton area to some upper 60s inland, skies are partly cloudy and  the winds are light.

Today a cold front will be crossing the area this morning, no precipitation is expected, winds will switch to the north and although today will be quite warm humidity levels will be lower than the last few days.

Sunday will be seasonable warm with continued comfortable humidity, some increasing cloudiness should occur by late in the afternoon and showers and thunderstorms should hold off till late Sunday night.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Monday and Tuesday as the front to our south moves into the area, temperatures will be seasonable on Monday and warmer than normal on Tuesday.

Wednesday looks to be the nicest day of the upcoming workweek with seasonably warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

Today we will have mostly sunny skies, it will be quite warm and humid but temperatures may be a couple of degrees lower than on Thursday, there is a slight chance of a thunderstorm but most areas with remain dry.

Warm and humid conditions continue on Saturday, latest indications are that most areas will only have a low chance of some thunderstorm activity in the afternoon and evening, once again most areas will remain dry.

A cold front will slip to our south on Sunday and it will be slightly cooler and less humid along with plenty of sunshine.

Monday will be seasonable with a chance of showers at night that will extend into Tuesday, it will be quite warm again on Tuesday.

Today will be a hot day with most areas reaching the lower 90s, with the heat and rather humid conditions some scattered thunderstorms may develop later this afternoon some of these storms may be severe, also there has been an air quality alert issued.

Quite warm and humid condition will continue Friday and Saturday as a cold front approaches the area, there will be a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms both days.

The front will pass to our south Saturday afternoon and Sunday will not be as warm or humid.
