Warm and dry weather today through Friday! Cooler weather over the weekend!


We have cloudy skies early on this Tuesday morning and there is some patchy fog in some areas, temperatures range from the upper 60s here in Clifton to the low 60s inland, winds are mainly calm.  Yesterday I recorded .74 inches of rainfall.

Today we should see a return of some sunshine and warmer temperatures as the frontal system that caused the rain yesterday moves further offshore and high pressure builds in from the west, it will still be a little humid with highs reaching the 80s which is about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Mostly sunny days Wednesday through Friday, it will be continued to be warm but it will be less humid than today.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday with only a slight chance of a shower, the front will be followed by high pressure that should give us the coolest readings of the season so far Sunday and Monday but it will remain dry.

Humid with well needed rain today! Mainly dry and unseasonably warm weather for the rest of the work week!


It is cloudy and humid early on this Monday morning and rain is finally moving into the area from the west, temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A slow moving front will be moving through the area today producing showers with possible thunderstorms, some of the rain will be heavy at times with rainfall amounts around an inch with some higher totals possible.  Rain will taper off to scattered showers tonight.  It will be humid with dew points around 70.

High pressure will build into the area on Tuesday and be with us through Friday giving us plenty of sunshine each day with temperatures well above normal for this time of year.

A weak cold front may touch off a light shower Saturday morning.

Sunday should be dry with cooler temperatures with highs only reaching the low 70s, however these readings are near normal for the end of September.

Warm and humid today with showers developing late in the day and continuing on Monday! Dry and warm the rest of the week!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings ranging from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to around 60 further inland, winds are light and it is a bit muggy.

A slow moving cold front will be approaching our area from the west, it now that precipitation from this system does not reach our area until later in the afternoon, it will be warmer and more humid today with most highs in the low 80s but mid 80s are possible if we get any sunshine.

The front will cause showers tonight into Monday some of the rain may be heavy at times with a possibility of 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches of well needed rain.

High pressure will build behind this front with dry conditions Tuesday through the end of the week along with warmer than normal temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and it is cool once again with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s in the Clifton area to the mid 40s inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine as high pressure moves off the New England coast, temperatures today will be a few degrees higher than yesterday.  Today will be a very nice day for outdoor activities like a nice boat ride on the Hudson River.

A slow moving cold front will cause showers to develop on Sunday morning and continue into Monday, some rain may be heavy at times along with warmer temperatures and a noticeable rise in the humidity levels as dew points reach 70 degrees, rainfall amounts will average around one inch with some higher amounts of much needed rain possible.

Warm on Tuesday ahead of another cold front that will come through dry.

Pleasantly warm the rest of the workweek with plenty of sunshine each day.

Once again we will have plenty of sunshine today as high pressure dominates our weather, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday’s readings with most highs in the mid 70s.

High pressure will be moving off the coast but be close enough to our area to provide mostly sunny conditions with slightly warmer temperatures on Saturday.

A slow moving cold front will be approaching the area on Sunday and move offshore on Monday, showers are likely Sunday afternoon into Monday with approximately 1-2 inches of well needed rain possible, it will become warmer and more humid.

Fair weather returns on Tuesday and last most of next week, temperatures will average above normal along with comfortable humidity.

The front that caused some thunderstorm activity yesterday has moved to our east as high pressure builds into our area which will give us cooler and drier air today along with plenty of sunshine.

The nice weather will continue tomorrow and Saturday as the high pressure will be in control of our weather.

The second half of the weekend will not be as nice as a slow moving cold front will be crossing the area giving the area some much needed rain, Sunday into Sunday night, it will be somewhat warmer and more humid.

Pleasant weather should return for early next week with seasonably warm temperatures.

We should have a very warm day today with a little higher humidity as high pressure moves offshore and a cold front approaches from the west, some spots may approach the 90 degree mark.  There is a low chance of a shower late this afternoon into this evening.

The cold front will move off the coast tonight and high pressure builds into the area tomorrow and be with us on Friday giving the area mostly fair skies both days with cooler and less humid air.

High pressure will move off the coast on Saturday and another stronger cold front approaches, Saturday will be mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

The best chance of showers will be from Saturday night through Monday morning as the cold front slowly moves through the area.

Fair weather returns for early next week with seasonably warm temperatures.

High pressure will be moving off the coast as a front approaches from the west on Wednesday, it will be quite warm and a little more humid, high will be mainly in the upper 80s and some spots may see a 90 degree reading.  There is a slight chance of a shower in the evening as the front comes through.

High pressure will build behind the front giving us nice weather with near seasonable temperatures Thursday through Saturday.

Another front approaching the area on Sunday will give us a good chance of showers that may linger into Monday morning.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures are much lower than the last few mornings with readings ranging from the upper 50s here in Clifton to some mid 40s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine with near normal temperatures with highs near 80 degrees and with low humidity it will be a very nice day.

Another nice day on Tuesday with temperatures a couple of degrees warmer.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 80s with higher humidity.

A cold front will cross the area on Wednesday night and now appears the front will come through with no precipitation, the front will be followed by cooler and drier air for the end of the week with temperatures at or even slightly below normal.

A little warmer over the weekend with the best chance of showers will be on Sunday but no widespread precipitation is expected as our dry pattern continues.

A cold front will cross the area later this morning giving us a chance of a shower, the front will be followed by much drier air this afternoon along with clearing and seasonably warm temperatures.

Monday and Tuesday will be very pleasant as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be a little above normal with continued comfortable humidity.
