Sunshine returns today with mild temperatures but becoming windy! Colder tonight through early next week! Chance of light snow Friday morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from near 40 in the Clifton area to the mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

Drier air will move into the area this morning and we should have mostly sunny skies, temperatures will rise into the 50s.  A cold front will move through this afternoon with windy and colder air behind the front, temperatures will fall into the 40s by sunset and drop into the 20s by daybreak on Thursday.

Thursday will be a dry and cold day with slowly diminishing winds.

A wave of low pressure will give us a good chance of light snow on Friday morning, at this time accumulations will be light with only a coating to possibly and inch with lower amounts inland.

Continued quite cold over the weekend and a second wave will be moving off the coast, at this time it appears that this system will stay well offshore but it still bears watching as the latest European model has the storm closer to the coast.

After a very cold Monday temperatures moderate on Tuesday and looking ahead to the long range it appears most of the rest of next week will be mild.
