The skies over our area are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are mild once again with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure building into our area will give us a mostly sunny and mild day, highs will reach the 50s and with light winds it will feel quite comfortable for late December.
A frontal system will cause rain to develop late Sunday afternoon and continue through Monday night and ending before daybreak on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts of near 2 inches are likely.
Dry with seasonably mild temperatures the rest of Tuesday through Thursday.
Another frontal system may give us more rain Friday into Saturday morning.

Yes Curt I see that the higher elevations may have some ice Sunday night into Monday morning. Hey it could be a whole lot worse!
