Partly sunny not as windy or cold today! Very nice stretch of mild and dry weather Wednesday through at least early next week!

Skies across the area are partly cloudy early on this Election Day and temperatures range mainly in the mid to upper 30s, winds are from the southwest.

Today will not be as cold and windy as yesterday but still it will be a little breezy and temperatures below normal with most highs in the low 50s. A weak front to our north will give inland areas a slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry.

A nice stretch of dry weather with above normal temperatures Wednesday through at least the beginning of next as high pressure will dominate. High temperatures will be near 60 on Wednesday and well up in the 60s to near 70 Thursday through early next week.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 30s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 4 – Sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – NOV 5 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – NOV 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – NOV 7 – Sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – NOV 8 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

MONDAY – NOV 9 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – A gale warning is in effect till 10 a.m. and a small craft advisory will be in effect until 4 p.m. this afternoon for west to northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected tonight through Saturday.

CLIFTON’S CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR OCTOBER 2020.

The month’s average temperature was 56.4 degrees which was 1.7 degrees above normal. The highest temperatures was 77 degrees on the 15th and the lowest was 29 degrees on the 31st. Precipitation was above normal with 6.09″ accumulating. We had a trace of snow on the 30th.
