High pressure building from the southern Mississippi valley will give us a sunny day today with diminishing winds by this afternoon. After a chilly start, high temperatures will reach into the mid 40s which is slightly above normal.

Above normal temperatures to continue next week, a weak disturbance may give us a shower on Tuesday, but a better chance of rain Wednesday night into Thursday.

Showers are expected to develop around 8 a.m. as a cold front approaches the area and should be off the coast by early this afternoon, the rain may be heavy at times. Strong southwest flow will cause temperatures to rise to the 60s this morning but after the front moves through temperatures will tumble to the 40s by sunset and the 20s by Saturday morning. Northwest winds behind the front may gust to 35 mph.

After a chilly start we will have plenty of sunshine on Saturday with diminishing winds, temperatures will rise to above normal readings in the afternoon.

Sunday will be milder despite considerable cloudiness.

Mild weather to continue much of next week with the best chance of showers will be from Tuesday night into Thursday.

A strong southwest flow will continue to give us very mild air into our area with some record high temperatures once again likely, with enough sunshine so that this morning highs should be well up into the 60s, with some 70 degree readings possible. Skies will become cloudy this afternoon with showers likely mainly after 3 p.m. Showers likely tonight with continued very mild temperatures.

A cold front will cross the area around noon on Friday with showers still likely in the morning. Temperatures should be in the low 60s in the morning falling to the 40s by sunset and into the 20s by Saturday morning. Winds will be gusty out of the northwest.

The weekend looks to be dry, temperatures will be chilly Saturday morning but modify in the afternoon. Sunday will be mostly sunny and again milder.

A weak disturbance moving through the area will give us cloudy skies this morning then becoming mostly sunny this afternoon. Temperatures will continue to be unseasonably mild with some record highs again possible as we should reach the low-mid 60s. Winds will be brisk out of the southwest gusting to 30 mph.

A rather strong frontal system will likely give us showers from Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. Temperatures will continue to be unseasonably mild but as the cold front moves to our east Friday morning temperatures will fall from the 50s in the morning down to the 30s by evening and then to the 20s Saturday morning. Winds will be quite brisk.

The weekend looks to be mainly dry, after a chilly Saturday, temperatures will again be mild on Sunday.

High pressure building from the west will give us a brisk northwest flow this morning with winds diminishing by this afternoon. High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than yesterday but remain well above normal for mid-February.

Wednesday should start off cloudy but become sunny and even milder on Wednesday.

Very mild will continue Thursday into at least Friday morning as a frontal system moves into the area. Showers are likely Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. The cold front associated with this system will move through by noon on Friday. Highs on Thursday will be in the 60s and highs on Friday will be in the upper 50s in the morning falling to the 40s by sunset along with gusty winds.

Saturday will be much cooler but only a little below normal, early lows will drop to near 20 and highs in the low 40s.

The cooler air will not last long as Sunday into early next will again be milder.

A weak cold front will come through dry tonight followed by a brisk northwest flow for Tuesday, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than today but remain well above normal. Wind gusts to 25 mph are possible.

Wednesday will start off cloudy but sunshine will return by the afternoon and temperatures will rise to the low 60s.

A strong frontal system will cause showers Thursday afternoon through the day on Friday. Temperatures will be very mild with highs in the 60s on Thursday with highs in the upper 50s Friday morning dropping to the 40s by sunset along with brisk winds.

We should see an increase in clouds today as high pressure moves offshore and a storm system across the southeast states moves northeast. We will have a chance of very light rain later tonight into early Monday morning but most of the precipitation will stay to our south and east.

Mainly dry weather Monday through Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will again be mild with most highs in the 50s.

Very mild Thursday and Friday but with showers likely as a frontal system moves through the area. Highs both days will be in the low 60s.

Cooler on Saturday as temperatures move to near normal levels but at this time it looks like the mild weather will return on Sunday and continue much of next week as our mild and snowless winter continues.

High pressure building from the mid-west will give us a mostly sunny day with diminishing winds as the high moves closer to our area. Although temperatures will be cooler today it will still be 5-10 degrees above normal.

Sunday will be a partly sunny day with continued seasonably mild temperatures but a low pressure will be approaching from the southeast states. Most of the precipitation should remain to southeast but there is a 50% chance of rain with the rain more likely along coastal areas and less inland.

Dry and mild Monday through Wednesday with highs in the 50s.

Unseasonably mild Thursday into Friday with highs both days in the 60s. A strong frontal system approaching our area will give us a chance of showers on Thursday with showers more likely on Friday.

A storm system over the mid-Mississippi valley will move to the Great Lakes today and a warm front associated with the low will move to our north by this evening. We should see an increase in clouds with a low chance of light showers tonight. Temperatures will be in the 50s today and stay in the mild 50s tonight.

A cold front will cross the area on Friday with a brisk northwest flow, temperatures will continue to be in the 50s as the cooler air won’t arrive until Friday night.

Cooler over the weekend, Saturday should be dry but there is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning as a weak frontal system moves through the area.
