Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Sunday morning with not much spread in temperatures with 49 degrees at my station in Clifton down to 45 at Ramsey. Winds are light out of the east-southeast.

A low pressure system will move into our area this morning with rain developing around 9-10 a.m. and may become moderate to heavy at times into early this afternoon. A warm front will pass to our north early this afternoon and the rain will become more scattered. A strong cold front will cross the area this evening preceded by a line of showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds likely. After the front colder and drier air will filter into our area along with strong winds up to 45 mph into Monday with another wind advisory in effect.

Dry weather with moderating temperatures on Tuesday.

Another in a series of low pressure systems will affect our area Wednesday into Thursday with a soaking rain again possible.

Much colder Thursday with the rain possibly changing to snow across higher elevations of extreme northwest New Jersey.

Friday will be unseasonably cold with lows in the 20s and highs only in the low 40s.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry. Temperatures will be below normal on Saturday and rise to near or slightly above normal on Sunday.,

Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and it continues to be unseasonably mild with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 49 degrees in Clifton down to 40 at Walpack, winds are from the northwest around 5-10 mph.

After having the warmest March temperature in 23 years yesterday, today will be cooler but still mild with highs well up into the 60s as weak high pressure dominates our weather. Winds will be much lighter than yesterday and there will be plenty of sunshine.

Another frontal system will give us rain mainly from mid morning on Sunday into Sunday night with rainfall amounts of around an inch. There also will be a chance of thunderstorms.

Dry weather Monday and Tuesday with temperatures below normal on Monday and near normal on Tuesday.

Another in the series of low pressure systems will affect our area Wednesday to Thursday and another soaking rain is likely. There is a possibility of the rain mixing with or changing to snow before ending across higher elevations well inland.

Dry and much cooler on Friday with morning lows in the 20s and afternoon highs only in the low 40s which would be around 40 degrees cooler than this past Friday.

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some showers in parts of the area. Temperatures are mild with most readings in the low to mid 50s. At 5 a.m. the temperature here in Clifton was 53 degrees.

A deep low pressure now over the Great Lakes will send a cold front through the area around noon, some showers will precede the front with a slight chance of a rumble of thunder. Following the front it will become mostly sunny and drier but unseasonably warm with temperatures rising well up into the 70s with an 80 degree reading within reach. The winds will likely gust to near 45 mph and a wind advisory is in effect.

Saturday will be the most pleasant day of the weekend with mostly sunny skies, with much less wind and temperatures in the 60s.

Another frontal system on Sunday will likely give our area another soaking rain on Sunday, temperatures will continue to be mild. Rainfall amount of around one inch is expected.

Another frontal system may affect our area Wednesday night into Thursday followed by much cooler weather on Friday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday with some patchy dense fog in some areas. 5 a.m. temperatures across the area are pretty uniform with 52 degrees in Clifton down to 49 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm.

The coastal low pressure yesterday gave us more rain than expected with just over an inch. This low is moving further offshore but some moisture is causing fog this morning. The fog will dissipate this morning and it will be partly sunny and warm with highs mostly just above 70 degrees.

A frontal system will likely give us showers Friday morning with a possible rumble of thunder. We should see clearing by Friday afternoon, and it will become windy and warm with highs well up into the 70s ahead of a cold front that will cross the area Friday afternoon, some record highs possible.

The weekend will be cooler but still mild with highs in the 60s. Saturday will be the nicest day of the weekend then a low pressure system will likely give us more rain on Sunday.

High pressure will dominate our weather early next week. Temperatures will be below normal on Monday, near normal on Tuesday and slightly above normal on Wednesday.

The nice stretch of dry weather will come to an end today as weak low pressure to our south and another stronger low pressure now over Iowa, will give us mainly cloudy skies with rain developing. The rain should begin around 4 p.m. and end around 10 p.m. with rainfall amounts about half of an inch.

Thursday will start off cloudy with some fog but become mostly sunny and warm as weak high pressure moves into the area. Temperatures should rise into the low 70s.

A frontal system will give us a chance of showers during Friday morning followed by clearing and becoming windy. With enough sunshine temperatures will rise well up into the 70s with a brisk westerly wind with gusts to 35 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday will be the best day of the upcoming weekend with high pressure in control. Temperatures will be lower but still above normal with highs mainly in the 60s.

Another low pressure will give our area a good chance of rain on Sunday with cooler temperatures.

Dry early next week with temperatures at or slightly below seasonable average.
