Skies are cloudy with some patchy dense fog early on this Friday morning and it is quite warm and humid with temperatures mainly in the upper 60s, winds are light mainly from the south to southwest.

High pressure off the coast along with a slow moving cold front approaching from the west will give us a southerly flow of warm and humid air today. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms but we should also see some breaks of sunshine. Showers and thunderstorms are more likely tonight as the front comes closer. Note that if have some rain today it will be the 9th Friday in a row that we had some measurable precipitation.

The front will come through Saturday morning with a shower possible in the morning followed by clearing and becoming much less humid by evening.

Very pleasant late spring weather Sunday through the day on Tuesday with seasonably cool temperatures and very low humidity.

A warm front may cause some showers Tuesday night into Wednesday, temperatures will rise to slightly above normal readings along with an increase in humidity.

High pressure off the Atlantic coast along with the remains of Tropical Storm Bertha well to the west of our area will combine to give us a cloudy day with a low chance of some scattered light showers today and tonight, temperatures will be near seasonable levels and the humidity will remain high with dew points in the 60s.

Friday will be warmer with a better chance of showers and thunderstorms mostly likely in the afternoon and evening as a slow moving cold front approaches our area.

The front will pass through our area on Saturday with a chance of a lingering shower followed by clearing and becoming much less humid by evening.

Pleasantly cool with low humidity and plenty of sunshine Sunday through Tuesday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and once again there is some patchy dense fog in parts of our area, temperatures range from around 60 in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, the humidity is high and the winds are mainly calm.

High pressure off the coast will continue with a light onshore flow of moist air; like the last couple of days clouds and fog will burn off and today will become partly sunny with seasonably mild temperatures.

Thursday will be a cloudy day with a chance of light showers and drizzle, temperatures will be slightly lower but the humidity will stay high.

A slow moving cold front will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms both Friday into Saturday, it will continue to be warm and humid until the front moves through late in the day Saturday.

Cooler and much less humid air will then move into our area as high pressure in the middle of the country builds toward our area on Sunday.

Cooler than normal and pleasant weather early next week.
