Cool and dry weather today! Continued cool through early next week with best rain chances tomorrow night and again Sunday night through Tuesday!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s here in Clifton to around 40 further inland, winds are light northerly.

High pressure building into our area will give us a dry day with cool temperatures, cloudy skies this morning will give way to mostly sunny conditions this afternoon.

Some frost is possible late tonight and early on Thursday morning then during the day we should see some increasing cloudiness temperatures with a chance of rain at night, temperatures will be cool.

Friday will again be cool with mainly cloudy skies.

A mainly dry weekend is anticipated with continued below normal temperatures.  There will be another chance of showers Sunday night that may extend into Tuesday with cool temperatures continuing.

Skies are mostly cloudy across the area on this Tuesday morning and there are some showers and thunderstorms with the heaviest activity now is across the Hudson Valley and the Poconos, temperatures range from the low 50s in Clifton to the upper 40s inland, winds are light.

A warm front now just to our south will be in our area today which will cause a continuation of shower and thunderstorms during the day, there will be a wide range of temperatures with high temperatures north of the front across the Hudson Valley only in the 50s while south of the front temperatures will rise to the upper 70s and low 80s, mainly across central and southern New Jersey.  Some thunderstorms may be quite strong especially south of the front.

High pressure then will build down from the north with clearing and cool conditions for Wednesday.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of more showers mainly Thursday afternoon and night, with clearing on Friday, temperatures will be quite cool.

A mainly dry weekend is expected with temperatures slightly below normal.  More showers are possible Sunday night into early next week.

We have mostly cloudy skies early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from around 50 here in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

High pressure will be moving off the coast today giving us a southerly flow of mild air along with mostly cloudy skies.

A front will approach the area from the north tonight and pass south of us on Tuesday afternoon, rain will develop late tonight and continue into Tuesday evening with a chance of a thunderstorm or two, temperatures will be mild ahead of the front but turn cooler late in the afternoon and at night.

High pressure will briefly move in for Wednesday giving us plenty of sunshine with seasonably cool temperatures.

Cool with a chance of showers on Thursday followed by dry weather Friday through the weekend along with continued seasonably cool temperatures.

Today we will have a mostly sunny day with near seasonable temperatures with highs in the 60s.

High pressure will move off the coast on Monday with a southwest flow of milder air, the day should start of sunny but there will be increasing cloudiness late in the day with a chance of showers late at night.

Tuesday a low pressure system will be moving through the area likely giving us showers with a possible thunderstorm.

Fair weather for Wednesday but another frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday afternoon through Friday morning.

Looking ahead it appears that we will have another dry and seasonably mild weather for next weekend.

Becoming mostly sunny today after some morning showers! Cooler but still pleasant weather for Sunday!


It is a mild morning early on this Saturday morning with temperatures ranging from the low 60s here in Clifton to the mid 50s in some of the cooler suburbs, there are some scattered showers in parts of the area.

A cold front will be crossing the area this morning giving us some early showers, high pressure will follow this front giving us mostly sunny skies by this afternoon, temperatures will not be as warm as Friday topping off to around 70 with lower humidity.

After a chilly Sunday morning with some patchy frost in the area we will then have plenty of sunshine with near seasonable temperatures.

Warmer on Monday with a chance of rain late at night.

A frontal system will sag to our south  as a low pressure forms along the front on Tuesday causing a cloudy and cool day with periods of rain.

High pressure will then give us a nice and seasonably cool day on Wednesday.

Milder weather for the end of the week but another disturbance may give us a chance of rain Thursday afternoon through Friday morning.
