Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and it is milder than the last couple of morning with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s here in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a mostly cloudy and warm day with a chance of showers later this morning with showers likely this afternoon and evening with a possible thunderstorm, rainfall amounts should be less than 1/4 of an inch, high temperatures will reach near 80.

A cold front will cross the area early Saturday morning, mostly cloudy skies will give way to mostly sunny skies by noontime, temperatures will be a little cooler but near seasonable levels.

Mostly sunny again on Sunday, we will start off cool with some frost inland with near seasonable temperatures during the day.

A frontal system will give us a chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday night.

Sunshine returns for Wednesday but a warm front approaching from the south will give us a chance of showers again on Thursday.

Skies are clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures have fallen to near 40 in Clifton to as low as 30 degrees at Walpack in Northwestern New Jersey, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine and it will be milder as tempertures climb into the low 70s, high pressure will be moving off the coast.

A warm front will move north of us in the morning followed by a cold front at night, it will be a warm day with showers and thunderstorms likely in the late afternoon and evening.

A nice weekend is anticipated with skies mostly fair and with seasonably mild temperatures.

A front system will give us a chance of rain mainly Monday night into Tuesday with fair weather returning for Wednesday.

Skies are clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s in Clifton to some mid 30s in the cooler inland valleys, winds are light.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine and temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than on Tuesday but with less wind it still will feel rather nice.

Milder and dry again tomorrow but we should see some increase in cloudiness.

A frontal system moving through on Friday will give us a chance of showers with continued mild temperatures.

A nice weekend is anticipated with seasonable temperatures along with plenty of sunshine both days.

Another frontal system may give us showers early next week.

Not as warm today with plenty of sunshine! Red flag fire weather warning in effect for this afternoon and evening!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and we have mild temperatures ranging from the mid 50s here in Clifton to some low 40s in some of the inland valleys, winds are light.

A cold front will come through this morning associated with only some clouds and followed by a brisk northerly flow of dry air, the combination of low relative humidity and gusty winds will enhance the chance of brush fires this afternoon and evening and a red flag warning is in effect.  High temperatures today will be around 10 degrees lower than the 82 degrees we recorded yesterday.

Dry again with seasonable temperatures on Wednesday but with less wind.

Warmer Thursday and Friday with a chance of showers on Friday.

At the present time it looks as if we will have another dry weekend with seasonable temperatures.

Skies are clear early on this Monday morning and with calm winds there is a rather large range of temperatures with the upper 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s in some of the inland valleys but some spots in Northern New Jersey are in the low-mid 50s.

Today we again will have plenty of sunshine temperatures  will rise quickly reaching near 80 by this afternoon.   Although it will be warm today it will not be as warm as it was 40 years ago today when the temperature went up to 96 degrees which was Easter Sunday that year.

A cold front will cross the area late tonight followed by somewhat cooler weather for Tuesday and Wednesday but we will remain dry as high pressure build into the area.

A frontal system will be approaching the area late this week with the best chance of showers will be on Friday, temperatures will be mild.

As of now the upcoming weekend looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures as another high pressure builds into the area.
