A weak area of high pressure will give us a partly sunny day today, temperatures will be a couple of degrees cooler than yesterday.

A cold front will come through the area on Wednesday with colder air, there is a slight chance of flurries mainly further inland.

Dry weather is expected Thursday through the weekend. Temperatures will be slightly above normal Thursday and Friday and near normal on the weekend.

The next chance of significant precipitation is not until early next week as a storm system approaches the area. Still almost a week away so the timing and track is uncertain at this time but there is a chance of snow or rain.

A weak cold front will cross the area today but should come through mainly dry, although this afternoon we have a slight chance of a flurry or a sprinkle, especially further inland. Winds will be a little breezy but not as windy as Sunday.

Mainly dry weather should continue through the week. There is a slight chance of flurries again Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will be slightly above normal on Tuesday, below normal on Wednesday, near normal Thursday and Friday, and slightly below normal on the weekend.

Next chance of significant precipitation will be early next week with rain or snow.

The low pressure that gave us the rain yesterday morning is now near the Maine coast and a brisk westerly flow will give us some gusts to 32 mph. Temperatures will be above normal, mainly in the mid 40s under partly sunny skies.

Mainly dry weather the rest of this week, there is a slight chance of flurries Monday and Wednesday and a low chance of light snow on Thursday. Temperatures will average near normal with Wednesday being the coldest day of the week.

Models are indicating a possible storm around the 26th with rain and or snow.

The storm system will be moving offshore and the rain should end by around 8 a.m. It will remain mostly cloudy this afternoon. Temperatures will remain steady in the mid to upper 40s.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and breezy with highs a little above normal.

Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures much of next week with only some flurries possible Monday and again on Wednesday as a couple of weak cold fronts move through our area.

At this time there is no sign of any major snowstorms or frigid Arctic air through the end of this month.

We will have our first precipitation in 11 days tonight as a frontal system will move into our area by this afternoon, which will cause rain this evening through Saturday morning, rainfall amounts will be near 1 inch.

Clearing by Saturday afternoon but it will be a little breezy. Mild in the morning but temperatures will fall somewhat in the afternoon.

Sunday looks to be a breezy day with temperatures a little above normal.

Mainly dry weather should continue much of next week. A couple of weak cold fronts, one on Monday and then another on Wednesday , should come through with no precipitation. Temperatures will be at or slightly above normal as no Arctic air will be in our area.
