Mostly sunny and comfortably warm today! Chance of showers late tonight into Sunday! Unsettled weather much of next week!


Good morning!

Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and with calm winds it is starting off on the cool side with temperatures ranging from 56 degrees in Clifton down to 41 degrees at Walpack.

High pressure moving off the Carolina coast will provide our area with a southwest flow of warm air along with plenty of sunshine. Humidity levels should remain on the low side.

A weak front will be approaching our are tonight with a chance of a shower late tonight.

Sunday looks to be a warm day with increasing humidity as the front will be in our area. Showers and a few thunderstorms are possible but most of the day it will remain dry.

Unsettled weather much of next week as the front will be near or just south of our area. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms through the period but again most of the time it will be dry. Temperatures will be near or slightly above normal.

TODAY – JUNE 15 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower after midnight, low in the mid 60s.

FATHER’S DAY – JUNE 16 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, more humid, high near 80.

MONDAY – JUNE 17 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – JUNE 18 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 19 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUNE 20 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 80.

FRIDAY – JUNE 21 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory has been posted valid between 2 pm this afternoon until 6 p.m. Sunday evening for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday night through Wednesday.
