Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and there are some light sprinkles falling in parts of the area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 43 in Clifton down to 34 at High Point. Winds are light from the northwest.

Today we should have some sunshine but it will be breezy and cool with high only around 50 degrees. Most areas will remain dry but there is a slight chance of a shower. If these showers occur they are going to be much more isolated than on Saturday.
Weak high pressure will give our area a mostly sunny and milder day on Monday with highs about 10 degrees milder than today with less wind.
A weak cold front will cross the area Tuesday morning with a low chance of a shower, despite the frontal passage it will be warmer on Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.
Wednesday looks to be dry but slightly cooler with an onshore flow.
A stronger cold front will cross the area on Thursday giving our area a chance of showers and thunderstorms, temperatures will be warm with highs well up into the 70s.
Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures Friday and Saturday.

SATURDAY – APR 16 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.
MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
