Today will be a mostly cloudy day but not as cold as yesterday with continued light winds as high pressure moves off the coast.

A weak disturbance along a warm front to our northwest will give us a chance of light showers on Sunday, the showers may be mixed with sleet, snow and freezing rain in the morning mainly well inland.

High pressure building in will give us rather nice weather for Christmas Day with mild temperatures and light winds.

A stronger low pressure system will likely give us rain mainly Tuesday night into Wednesday. At this time this system will be weaker than our last two storms but with our area having saturated ground some flooding is possible.

Still at chance of showers Thursday and Friday as an upper low moves through the area.

High pressure in our area will give us mostly sunny skies but it will be chilly with most high temperatures staying in the 30s, however the winds will be much lighter than the last couple of days.

Milder on Saturday as a weak warm front moves to our north, skies will be partly sunny but become mostly cloudy at night.

A weakening low pressure disturbance may touch off some light showers or sprinkles Sunday morning but it will remain mild.

Christmas Day still looks to be dry and mild with most highs in the low 50s.

Yesterday’s powerful storm caused heavy rain with strong gusty winds to 40 mph. Our home lost power from around 6 a.m. until noon.

Today we will have much quieter weather with mostly sunny skies and it will be a little breezy. A cold front is expected to come through dry around noon.

Dry weather is expected to continue through Christmas Day. Temperatures will be near normal on Wednesday, a little below normal Thursday through Saturday then be a little above normal for Sunday and Christmas Day.
