CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR DECEMBER 23RD:

AVERAGE HIGH: 41 AVERAGE LOW: 23

RECORD HIGH: 60 – 2015 RECORD LOW: -1 – 1989

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 39 LOW: 21 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Today will be a mostly cloudy day but not as cold as yesterday with continued light winds as high pressure moves off the coast.

A weak disturbance along a warm front to our northwest will give us a chance of light showers on Sunday, the showers may be mixed with sleet, snow and freezing rain in the morning mainly well inland.

High pressure building in will give us rather nice weather for Christmas Day with mild temperatures and light winds.

A stronger low pressure system will likely give us rain mainly Tuesday night into Wednesday. At this time this system will be weaker than our last two storms but with our area having saturated ground some flooding is possible.

Still at chance of showers Thursday and Friday as an upper low moves through the area.
