The low pressure off the Canadian Maritimes which cause the wind and cold the last few days will be moving further offshore as high pressure builds closer to our area from the west. Today we will have more sunshine than yesterday after early morning cloudiness, temperatures will be a few degrees higher and with less wind it will feel more comfortable than yesterday.

Mainly dry weather the rest of this week, temperatures will rise to near normal on Monday and above normal Tuesday through Friday as high pressure moves offshore and a southwesterly flow of warmer air develops.

At this point next weekend should still be dry but with cooler temperatures.

Low pressure off the Canadian maritime region and high pressure building from the west will cause a brisk northwest flow of cold air today. High temperatures will only be in the 30s and with the wind it will feel even colder.

Dry weather to continue most of next week, temperatures will be near normal on Monday but rise to above normal Tuesday through the end of the week with some high temperatures rising into the 60s.

High pressure building into the area will give our area a southwest flow of much milder air, high temperatures will be around 15 degrees higher than yesterday with much less wind. A cold front will cross the area tonight with winds becoming northwest and gusty by late tonight.

An unusual period of dry weather is expected through at least early next week. Tomorrow will be mostly sunny but cooler and breezy.

Cooler than normal weather is expected to continue Friday through Monday with a warming trend starting on Tuesday with 60s possible by the middle of next week.
