The remains of Tropical Storm Nestor has moved further out to sea while weak high pressure builds into our area today giving us a mostly sunny day with temperatures a little above normal.

A frontal system will move through the area Tuesday night, there is a chance of rain tomorrow afternoon but most of the rain will fall late Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Fair weather with slightly above normal temperatures Wednesday through Friday. A weak cold front is expected to cross the area Friday night only associated with some clouds.

Cooler next weekend with a chance of showers on Sunday as another front moves into our area.

The remains of Tropical Storm Nestor will move off the Carolina coast today, we will have an increase in clouds with some light rain after 2 p.m continuing until around midnight. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/4 of an inch, heavier amounts will fall along the coast and southern New Jersey. This rain will be the first measurable weekend rain since the middle of August.

A weak high pressure will build over the area on Monday providing us with plenty of sunshine and temperatures a little above normal.

A frontal system will likely give our area some showers late Tuesday afternoon into the evening.

Fair weather for Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be slightly above normal.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers Friday into Saturday.

The storm that gave us the rain and wind of the last couple of days has moved into the Canadian maritime region as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes this will cause a brisk northwest flow of cool air although it won’t be as windy as yesterday.

Tonight with the high pressure building closer to our area will cause clear skies and light winds which will have temperatures fall into the 30s with some frost possible, a frost advisory is in effect for our area.

Saturday will be a sunny and cool day with the high pressure over the area, winds will be much lighter.

Sunday will be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures however a possible tropical system will move into the gulf states on Sunday and move just off the Carolina coast, clouds from this system will move into our area but the rain should stay off the coast.

Mostly sunny on Monday with near seasonable temperatures.

A low pressure system will likely give our area rain Tuesday into Wednesday morning, some of this rain may be heavy.

High pressure will then build into the area later Wednesday and dominate our weather through the end of the week which will give us dry conditions with near seasonable temperatures.

The coastal storm that cause the heavy rain and strong winds yesterday has moved to Rhode Island and is intensifying. A strong westerly wind will develop on the backside of the storm, gusts over 50 mph are possible and a high wind warning is in effect. These winds will likely result in some tree damage and power outages. Skies will be partly sunny.

Dry and cool on Friday and it still will be a little breezy.

Another very nice fall weekend is expected with temperatures near normal on Saturday and above normal on Sunday.

Mild Monday and Tuesday but a frontal system will likely give us showers late Monday night into Tuesday.

A frontal system moving into our area and a strong low pressure will form just off the Long Island coast and intensify. Rain should move into our area by the middle of this afternoon and become very heavy at times continuing this evening and ending around midnight. Rainfall amounts of 2-3 inches are likely cause some flash flooding. It will become windy with southeast winds gusting to 30 mph.

The strong low will move into the Canadian Maritime region and a very strong westerly wind will develop in our area on Thursday, wind gusts of 40 mph are possible. We should see partial clearing through the day.

Dry weather is expected Friday through the weekend, Friday will be cool but it will be milder over the weekend.

Mild weather early next week with a chance of showers.

High pressure will be in control of our weather today providing mostly sunny skies with near seasonable temperatures, winds will be light.

A frontal system will move into the area on Wednesday with a strong coastal low that will intensify just southeast of our area. Heavy rain is likely with this system mainly falling between 2 p.m. and midnight where 1-2 inches of rainfall will be likely. Strong southeast wind will gust to 30 mph.

As the coastal storm moves up to northern New England a high pressure will be building into our area on Thursday, the pressure gradient between these system will produce strong northwest winds gusting to 35 to 40 mph. Skies will remain mostly cloudy.

Fair weather Friday through the weekend, temperatures will be a little below normal on Friday, near normal on Saturday and above normal on Sunday.
