High pressure building into our area will give us a very nice August day today with comfortable temperatures and humidity. Highs will be near 80 and with dew points only near 50.

As the high pressure moves off the coast a southwest flow of warmer air will move into our area with highs well up into the 80s but the humidity will stay low for August with dew points in the 50s.

Monday will be hot with an increase in humidity but a cold front will come through dry Monday night.

High pressure will then dominate our weather Tuesday through Friday again giving us comfortable tempertures and humidity. A weak frontal system will give us a slight chance of showers Thursday night but most places will remain dry.

A weak frontal system is moving offshore and we should see clearing after early morning cloudy skies. Temperatures will be at or slightly below normal, but the humidity will remain on the high side with dew points in the upper 60s.

Thursday will start off dry but we should see some increase in clouds by the afternoon, it will continue to be humid with a good chance of showers Thursday night into Friday morning. After the frontal passage we will have a brisk westerly flow of much less humid air by late in the afternoon.

High pressure will be in control of our weather over the weekend giving us mostly sunny skies both days. Saturday will be seasonably cool with very low humidity. Temperatures and humidity will be slightly higher on Sunday but still comfortable for August.
